Development of Climate Strategy

At Karbone we developed a center of excellence to define and develop carbon credits on behalf of our clients. Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory

Karbone can help you define, measure, estimate and analyze your greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, or carbon footprint, from direct and indirect energy use and other emissions sources, as a first step toward meeting cost reduction and climate change goals.  We can provide computerized tools to enable you to conduct annual inventories on an on-going basis.

Analysis of GHG Reduction Options

Karbone can work with relevant corporate divisions to help you judge the cost-benefit and other tradeoffs among the options for reducing carbon emissions, both internally from your own business operations and externally by purchasing GHG emissions offsets. 

Offerings: Energy audits; evaluation of energy efficiency in operations and maintenance, use of renewable energy, and all other means of onsite GHG emission reductions; evaluation of offsets project; recommendations for a GHG reduction plan.

Management and Implementation of GHG Reduction Measures

Karbone works with partner companies to execute your on-site energy efficiency and fossil fuel use reduction projects, including achieving LEED certification, installation of on-site renewable  energy projects, and implementation of energy efficiency measures in your facilities and in Operations and Maintenance.  We can develop carbon credit generating projects globally, customized to meet your requirements.   In addition, Karbone can help you implement your overall strategy through its carbon credit brokerage and project finance services (see below).  We make sure that projects are executed on time and on target with regards to quality and budget expectations.
